This happens when the Carburetor Float Needle gets stuck and is easy to rectify!
When taking the Carburetor apart, be sure not to lose the small parts (usually a spring and a plastic flange) that sit between the Carburetor and the Stepper Motor which sits on top. We highly suggest when you separate these parts, you do so in a clear plastic bag, as these parts are very easy to lose and the spring has a tendency to "ping" off and never be found again!
If you watch this video it will show you how to free up the Float Needle. It is the same procedure on all Carburetors on Portable Generators.
If the fuel keeps leaking after performing the above procedure, then the Float Needle is damaged and you will need to replace the Float Needle.
